Adsense Revealed

There are many ways to make money on the internet. Some choose to sell products, while others freelance. But what if you run a site that doesn't sell products, but is instead about sports? What if you want to make money? Believe it or not, you can still make money on the internet even without actually selling things. You can make money using Google's AdSense, by reading this article on Adsense revealed.

Adsense Revealed: What is Adsense?

Adsense is a program offered by Google. Someone who signs up for the program will install it on their web site. Ads by Google will then be shown on your page. The ads shown will initially be public service announcements, but then will switch to ads relevant to your site. That's the beauty of Adsense. Unlike other ad programs, the ads are customized to fit your site!

Adsense Revealed: How do I get Adsense?

You'll need to go to Google.com, first. At the bottom of the screen is a link for "Advertising Programs". Click on that. Then click on the link for "Adsense". Scroll down on the page that comes up and click "Click Here to Apply!" You then fill out the form with information about yourself and your site. After 12-48 hours, Google will notify you via email whether or not your site has been accepted. When you've been accepted, you can set up the ads to your site. Here's out to do it:

1. Follow Google's instructions to customize your ads. Try to choose a scheme that fits in with your site. 2. Copy the code that Google comes up with. 3. Paste the copied code into your web site. Do this for each page of your site that you want ads to appear on. Adsense should then show up on your site.

Adsense Revealed: How does Adsense work and how do I earn money from it?

Adsense basically installs ads on your site. These ads are bought by various companies who want their product/site advertised. Each time an ad is clicked, Google gets some money from the company for whom the ad was created. Google then pays you a fraction of the money they were paid for the ad.

Adsense Revealed: How much can I earn from Adsense?

How much you earn is completely dependent on the number of unique visitors you get on your site and the number of unique ad clicks you get. Generally speaking, sites with high amounts of visitors will earn more money with Adsense than those with lower amounts of visitors. This is because the more people who visit the site, the more likely it is an ad will be legitimately clicked. Also, Google will pay more per ad click to sites with high amounts of traffic. Those who run sites with lower amounts of traffic can expect to earn around 60 cents per click.

Once you earn at least $100, Google will pay you via PayPal or Check.

Adsense Revealed: Things you should keep in mind.

Google absolutely hates false clicks on Adsense. False clicks are multiple clicks made by the same visitor or by you. If you or a visitor is caught false clicking, Google will drop you from the Adsense program.

Google also dislikes site owners who ask people to click on the ads. You should never tell your visitors to "support me by clicking on the ads". Doing so could result in permanent removal from the Adsense program.

Many people are turned off by the appearance of ads on a site. If you choose Adsense, you'll probably want to display only one or two small ads so you don't turn off people from coming to your site. Being subtle with Adsense ads is a good idea. Not only will you make some extra cash, but you'll also keep your visitors happy. That is the perfect balance.
